♛  –  SWEET GIRL  ;

      as she’s sitting there flipping through the menu, she can’t help but raise her hand to her neck where her pendant lay. For some odd reason, the current setting that she found herself in seemed to magnify the temperature of the necklace and it was odd — extremely odd. It was what brought her to the town even as she followed whichever way it said to go and for some reason, and told her to go that way. As she looks up as the woman spoke, she couldn’t help but blush lightly before frowning inwardly, the woman before her seemed — familiar, but in what way, she did not know, that was something she would hopefully soon find out, or rather sooner than later anyways.

    She clears her throat and is about to speak before a frown made its way onto her face, how did she find the quaint town? She just drove. “Pleasure to meet you Mayor as for how I found this town, well, I was just driving along the road and turned off when I felt was right and then drove past a sign called Storybrooke and thought it seemed like an interesting place to stop.” she remarked as she dropped her hand away from her pendant, letting the necklace drop into plain view.

                     ♛ —-  ;          familiarity   lingers   in   the   distance,   the   recollection   of   what   was   only   a   dream   prodding   at   her   skull,   a    nightmare   created   to   burden   an   addled   mind   so   long   ago,   to   guide   her   path   to   the   darkness   which   consumes   her   now.        the   young   woman’s   gaze   echoes   her   own,   irises   nearly   identical.      though   the   thought   is   hastily   dismissed,   that   furious   ache   begins  to   plague   her,   the   same   that   tore   through   her   being   in   the   presence   of   her   dear   mother,   the   moment   that   horrid,   corroding   potion   passed   her   lips.      interest   in   the   town’s   newest   tourist   is   piqued,   studied,   examined,   no   threat   posed   yet

                       a   strange   coincidence,   truly.      the   girl’s   path   colliding   with   a   town   far   more   peculiar   than   any   other,     fashioned   by   the   deranged   workings   of   a   devastating   curse.        MAGIC   would   have   aided   her   in   seizing   the   answers   she   sought   even   now   yet   it   was   an   advantage   she   sacrificed   in   this   new   land   for   the   sake   of   her   happiness   bred   from   suffering   —-   her   revenge.       lips   part   to   speak   until   eyes   fix   on   the   exposed   pendant,   a   haunting   replica   of   what   was   conjured   within   her   dream,   a   gift   to   the   child   whom   perished   as   the   tragedy   unfolded   to   her   horror.      her   present   train   of   thought   is   abandoned.        ❛      what   a   lovely   necklace.      may   i   ask   where   you   got   it   ?     ❜

i will have my vengeance.

this heart that only knows how to beat on stolen blood, for these lips that have forgotten how to smile, for these limbs should lie under a fading headstone but upon this skull lies a crown of bones, this body a tattered skeleton despite the glittering jewels & elaborate gowns adorning it. these eyes love shadow more than sun. perhaps in this void, i will find home again.

out of your suffering shall rise my victory

these hands do not know how to hold something precious, without shattering it to dust in my wrought iron fingers, without burning it to smoke & ashes from the hellfire in my veins, without shredding it apart &letting it bleed out over my serrated-edge nails without strangling the life out of its trembling core - in the hopes that maybe in the pieces of the aftermath, i will find myself again.
